THAT was TRUE missionary work................

This week has been incredible working with the members, they are seriously on fire right now!!! Sister Bailey and I have seen the HUGE difference in the work, when like...ALL our lessons are taught with members and so we are working so hard to have them EVERY lesson, and boy is it bringing miracles and great conversion! This week we also had a zone conference on “working with Stake and Ward Leaders” and it has already begun to change our mission a lot. Sister Bailey and I (as Sister Training Leaders) were ‘blessed’ to be able to help a lot, and we definitely saw the Lord strengthen us where we saw we were very weak, how grateful I am for a Heavenly Father who helps us no matter how inadequate we feel! Sister Bailey and I, along with 2 other sisters, were able to sing “our Savior’s Love” and it was really nice.   Our Saviors love really is the most glorious thing, next to his sacrifice, and the infinite love and mercy of our Heavenly Father!

With the help of our members we are able to teach around 13 member present lessons each week, and yesterday we taught 6!!! The members have really caught the vision and are now working with us in the most effective way! WE are one team, and missionary work truly, has never been better. Our members are now the ones inviting their friends to be baptized, to come to church, and to repent...I’ve really begun to see how missionary work really does need to be done. The coolest experience relating the this was last week when Brother Fremantle, (from the bishopric) called us with the greatest news ever!!! The foster kids living with them now want to be taught and baptized!!! We set a day to go over...we didn’t have to plan any of the members being there...and when we arrived on Sunday after church for the lesson, i was blown away! 10 members of the ward (including like all of the Young Woman) were there to support Suanne (18yr. Old investigator)...We opened with the prayer, and I just teared up, feeling so much love and happiness from our Heavenly Father! Being in that lesson, and being the missionaries who were so blessed to have witnessed what we did, helped me see that,  THAT was TRUE missionary work, and that there is no reason for it to be finished with Suanne!...I know it will continue :)  But in the lesson where the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ was taught, the spirit was SO STRONG that literally everyone (including the less actives) were all crying... “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them” (Matt. 18:20) and this was so true! The Lord was with us and the spirit burned stronger than ever before, because the Holy Ghost was there! Suanne will be baptized on 8 Feb. and is so excited! She has been coming to church for a while, but is finally ready! She went to EFY and the spirit worked so strongly within her, that now she wants the fullness of the gospel in her life! WE asked her why she wanted to be baptized and she explained that it was because it brought more happiness than anything else, she felt like Christ needed her to, and she wanted to be able to raise her children in the gospel one day...UNREAL! She has so been prepared by the members, and the Lord...you members are the reason for MIRACLES!

I know that whenever we pray for an opportunity to share the gospel...IT COMES!!! As we have been helping our ward members set up mission plans, and committing them to pray for experiences...they have been calling us the following day reporting their miracles!!! The lord does hear and answer our prayers, and will ALWAYS provide us with an opportunity to share HIS word, when we ASK!

The Coyle family (who is preparing to be married and baptized on the 15th of Feb) are doing really well, taking some incredible steps, but REALLY NEED YOUR PRAYERS!!! Please, please, please include them in every prayer, they need your extra help...They are working on overcoming  the last final things that come with addictions, but nonetheless, they have made incredible progress!!! The ward is helping a lot, and has planned a massive surprise wedding (Brother and Sister Coyle just think there are going to be sandwiches after haha), and they are being the greatest! Our bishop has said that having this at the beginning of the year is the Lord testing the ward to see if they will work hard enough this year (seeing we have doubled our ward goals for convert baptisms, retention, etc.), and I know that they are showing the Lord they are ready to work! They are putting together a massive Hangi, getting a photographer, great wedding dress, wedding cake, flowers, etc...this ward is seriously insane! From when I have first came into this area, the ward has just grown so muchJ .  It’s the coolest thing to see all of them have such a strengthened love for missionary work! And the cool thing is...is we really are seeing how missionary work is the solution to all problems...because it is also the reason our less actives are becoming active again...they have been able to help us with missionary work! I am the biggest fan of this work, and will forever be! (p.s Kaleb, their son/recent convert, passed the sacrament last week and that was HUGE for him! Yashar helped prepare the sacrament, and our less active friends (young men) we have been working with (along with their families), are receiving the Melchizedek priesthood this SUNDAY!!!)))

Well fun story...there was a big fire in our suburb...and us along with several other suburbs had to evacuate...it was fun hahaha...we have the funniest videos of us carrying all out luggage to the car to evacuate immediately haha- oh the fun times as a missionary...anyways, after packing and leaving home, we went to our appointment with Rochelle (who also needs your prayers as she prepares for Baptism) with April (a RM)..well when we got to Rochelle’s house her family was also all leaving so we were like, “hmmm we have a sweet member with us, we have to see SOMEONE!” So we just felt prompted to go see Harmony, a less active YSA we recently found..Long story short, we got to there to find that Harmony was not home, but her housemates and friends were...In that lesson we taught 4 new investigators about the atonement and repentance, and committed them to repent and learn more about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.......ALL ACCEPTED!!! J The cool part was, the member we took with us, knew these other YSA”s in the 20’s and so she couldn’t have been a more perfect pick! There was one girl in particular in that lesson  who was really keen about the Book of Mormon, so we left one with her to read...went back yesterday and she has been reading and writing down questions and is SOOOOO keen! She will be baptized, mark my words! Those YSA’s were led by the spirit to walk into the house just after we arrived, so that they could hear about the Savior and what he has done for them! I love the Lords timing! Cool part, one of the friends is from Arizona...a fellow American!!! You never see American's here so it’s pretty sweet when we meet one;) But ya, we are really excited to work with those YSA’s, because they truly are the future of the church!

We have a lot of great opportunities of visiting less actives in our area and seeing them break down in tears, in gratitude for our Savior and His gospel, and commit to come back into the fold is just as sweet as seeing someone be baptized! I love the Lord, I love his children in this area, and I love seeing the work hasten. Members are the ONLY way things are happening the way they are!
I love you guys and pray that the Lord may continue to bless you with opportunities to share HIS gospel! Today we get to go to the temple. I have done a lot of preparation and am beyond excited to enter my Heavenly Father’s house...what a sacred experience it will be today!!! Xoxo

...ahhhh nothing is better than hearing that they are feeling the spirit enough to bring them closer to God!

This week we saw a lot of very special miracles, and were again driven to our knees often as well as offerings of gratitude fasts, for all the Heavenly Father is allowing us to experience! I truly feel so blessed to be a missionary in Western Australia at this time:)

This week we had a really special experience with a man from New Zealand, in his 50's, named Nara...this man is incredible! We had set up an appointment with him and when we arrived with the member (who was perfect for him), Nara came walking out to meet us with the biggest smile on his face! We asked "Nara, what's the massive smile all about?".  Well we all sat down at the sweet little table he had prepared (which had his BOM waiting on;)) and he said "I did what you asked...I prayed". He then went on to tell us, that our loving Heavenly Father spoke to him in very clear words (in the Maori language) and gave him his answer...he said not only in the words he heard, did he receive his answer...but in a vision...and he KNOWS THIS IS TRUE! He told us that he knows this is the path that God needs him on, and that this is what his family needs! My companion and I were just squeezing each other's hands under the table, trying to contain our excitement, but at the same time almost in tears that his answer had come so clearly, and in a special way! Something my companion and I have been doing is so boldly telling people when we first meet them, that we ARE representatives of Jesus Christ and that the message we have is VERY important...then at the end of the lesson, with full confidence (in Heavenly Father) we promise that if they read, and pray with sincerity...they can receive an answer "tonight" if the Book of Mormon is true!!! We have found that when we do this will full faith in the Lord that he WILL reveal the truth of it unto them, then they DO get their answers, just as Nigel did! Who would want to trust two 20 yr old girls on a promise like that?!?!? IT's not us taking any part in these miracles, it's purely the Lord and he has simple just  set us apart to do this work, which is why people often trust us and take our "challenge"...ahhhhhhh NARA IS AMAZING! guarantee he will be a stake president one day! and I can't wait to tell you about the visions he has, they are totally gospel and temple centered and he will have a better understanding of them one day...but they are sweet!!! Ahhh but my favorite thing about this, is his conversion did not take place as we were sitting there talking...but rather when he was on his own reading his scriptures and praying!!! I'm so grateful for that! Our lesson ended as we all kneeled under the stars, and Nara offered the sweetest prayer! His relationship with God is just beautiful, and I was so grateful to listen to his conversation with our heavenly father. We ended by doing the "HANGI" with Nara...it was way special! Google it and what the meaning is...it's something really special to them that is sweet to see when our investigators and members connect like none other!

Another miracle as with Shakia (investigator) and Costner (less active)! A young couple (Samoan and Maori) who are 18 and 19 yr. old, with a one yr. old daughter. Well they have been progressing like crazy and loving reading the book of Mormon. Well this week we went over with this sweet member who is incredible and has the most beautiful testimony with a lot of experience behind it! She is a mom who has been through quite a few challenges, including several marriages- so when we told her we would be teaching the couple about the Law of Chastity, she already started crying and was so excited (this is when we knew it was going to be REALLY good;)) Well we were a bit nervous about teaching this to an unmarried couple who already has a child, but we knew that we wouldn't be fulfilling our purpose if we didn't invite them to change and repent...so we taught it...oh my gosh...most beautiful lesson ever! So sacred, sister bailey and I couldn't scream this time;) It was taught what the Law of Chastity is, and how we live it...but the WHY part was just so special! The Savior was and is the reason for this special commandment, and by the end as we were asking questions to check for their understanding and feelings about it, they were able to express that this is something they feel is very important, and that it will help strengthen their relationship, as well as build their trust in one another...they committed to live it!!! can you believe that?!?! As hard as it may be, they committed...why? Because of the love the have for their Savior and Heavenly Father. The commandments are a beautiful thing that do not bind us down, but set us free when we live them! They are sacred, special, and beautiful, and I was so humbled to have been apart of such a spiritual lesson!

Side note: Shakia's brother Quentin (16 yr. old, investigator, big rugby player) was able to go to EFY this past week (even though he isn't a member) and is just doing amazing! He is loving the gospel, and is best mates with like all the Young men, it's amazing! We sat down with his parents (who we are slowly working our way into with;)) and they said that they have noticed a change in their kids for the better, and the love that they are making good friends with other kids who have great standards!!! ahhhhhh miracles are pourin' and the parents are slowly coming around (the dad has been reading the BOM!!!)

Sam was baptised on Saturday which was really sweet as well! She had the biggest smile on her face before, as she stood in the water, and as she was confirmed a member of Jesus Christ's Church, and given the gift of the Holy Ghost. She bore testimony at her baptism, and it was...words can't describe it...but it was a pure testimony. She testified of Jesus Christ, his atonement, the Book of Mormon, Joseph Smith, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints...she was able to bear this kind of a pure testimony, because she reads the BOM everyday and prays daily! That's what does it! She is so strong, and it's just been the coolest to see her grow so much! She came to a lesson with us to teach some other investigators and bore testimony how it has brought her more happiness than she ever thought possible! how cool is that, a non member (waiting to be baptized) sharing her fervent testimony in lessons with other of God's children! I'm so grateful for Sam, her example, and diligent willingness to do whatever God needs her to! She accepted all the commandments so easily because she says, "I've seen God bless me so far, so I know he will keep doing it, aka keep keeping the commandments"...amazing example to me, she is! :)

Sister Bailey and I have just LOVED being able to read the Book Of Mormon with investigators in between appointments as follow up visits! We have them all kneel and pray with us, then open a random scripture and we all begin to read! WITHOUT FAIL the spirit has taught us the coolest lessons, every single time!!! (even when they open to a war chapter...the Lord teaches us miraculous things, that always seem to be tailored so well to each of our needs!) Yesterday as we did it with 2 of our friends, by the end they were just lit up. One said, "I'm so excited to read it now, and look for how I can relate to it!" :) haha perfect hey!? In that lesson we also talked about the importance of sincere prayer, and how when solid scripture study and sincere prayer work together, we draw near unto God and can have a great relationship with him... Well the closing prayer to that lesson was offered by the less active, who openly and freely talked with our Heavenly Father and said the sweetest things ever- one of my favourite things he said "I'm grateful that the sisters could come so we could get closer to God"...ahhhh nothing is better than hearing that...hearing that they are feeling the spirit enough to bring them closer to God!

It's been around 110 degrees, and we're loving our bikes! We have great tan lines, sunburns, and it's the greatest to feel that heat when we are fasting...literally the greatest! I love pain! I love the atonement and love bearing testimony of it...this week after teaching it to our sweet friend Rochelle (who is preparing to be baptized on Feb 22), we asked her how she felt after hearing about what Christ had done for her...she said "I want to change. I want to be better"...:) The atonement allows us to do so! I love my Savior, I love this work. God lives, and so does his son Jesus Christ, the Book of Mormon IS true, and contains all what we need TODAY! It was written for us to read TODAY, at the exact time we flip to those pages...ahhhh we are so blessed! Now let us wear those pages out, and not let the Book of Mormon become of book full of words, but a guide to our Heavenly Father! My testimony is strengthened more and more each week, in the power within the Book of Mormon, I LOVE IT!!! and I love you guys too!!! Now a big fat shout out to the best dad ever! love you and happy 60th birthday! kidding dad;) happy 52nd xoxoxox (I'm sending you a letter dad) muah!

xoxoxo

Sister Ensign

.... the spirit is the only teacher.

Well, we got transfer calls today, and Sister Bailey and I are...STAYING IN KWINANA as Sister Training Leaders!!! I'm so excited to be staying with her! That means we will both be able to see the wedding and baptism of Justin and Stacey, as well as all the other people  who are sooo close to baptism! And I'm just really excited because I know that this is what the Lord needs! Yes this past transfer has been one of the most incredible ones of my missions, and yes my sweet companion has shown me by example how to be more like Jesus Christ...ahhhhh she is the greatest and I can't wait to learn even more from her!

So this week was a great rollercoaster... We saw a lot of opposition, but also some INCREDIBLE miracles!

-Sam succesfully finished the stop smoking program and is an offical non smoker!!! Ahhh i'm so happy for her:) her baptism is on Saturday and she cannot wait! She came with us this week to two lessons, (to be our member, even though she isn't baptised yet haha) and she testified of the doctirine so beautifully! She bore testimony how the gospel has changed her, and made her into the happiest person ever! She loves the Book of Mormon, and has grown to love our Savior and HEavenly Father SOOO much! She is a wonderful example to me! :) I'll easily put my money on the fact that she is the next relief society president!

The past 2 days have been really special for me! In church yesterday I recieved a lot of revelation on how my relationship is with my Heavnenly Father! I learned a lot about the imporatnce of SINCERE PRAYERS! I thought i knew what a sincere prayer was, but boy tdi i learn SO MUCH MORE about it yesterday in Relief Society! The teacher talked about the times when we talk with our best friends, and how we can talk for hours and hours with them...even days! Well, we often refer to Heavenly Father as our best friend, but are we really talking to him like our Best Friend?! He is our father...he wants to hear from us! As his sons and daugthers we have the ability to talk to him about anytthing...frustrations, fears, happiness, all of it! So the teacher encouraged us to time our prayers so we could just 'talk' to Heavenly Father and let him know EVERYTING...she said at first it might be really weird, but to just give yourself a GOOD amount of time to talk with our Heavenly Father...I gave it a shot last night, and this morning...:) and found myself, quite a while later (when I remembered tolook at the clock) not wanting to finish telling my best friend everything. As I prayed Heavnly Father and I held a very clear conversation and he answered many questions...I had to tell him sorry for not opening up everytime and just talking with him, and finished by telling him how much I loved him and hope he has a great morning (inspiration from an investigator to tell Heavenly Father good morning, and good night;) haha cute huh?). But as I prayed I felt such a deep love to and from my Heavenly Father, it was an experience I will never forget!

I wish I had more time to report all the insane miracles but I don't...But I do know that God is literally our Heavenly Father, and that the atonement of Jesus Christ is real. He has changed the hearts of so many people in our area and many of them have repented, and are reading the Book of Mormon everyday as they prepare for baptism! This week, although hard, I was able to feel of the spirit so strongly in lessons! I know for a surety, that the spirit is the only teacher, and I'm so grateful for it as my constant compainon, it turly is the greatest gift ever! I love you guys!

..............how grateful we are for the atonement, because that's what has changed us, it's what has changed me!

Once again...left speechless, unsure of where to start! But wow! The Lord.is.INCREDIBLE!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! New Years Eve evening, my companion and I sat on our beds, read journal entries to each other, and talked about what changes we have seen in ourselves throughout our missions...it was really special! (AND it was really fun to do with my best friend Sister Bailey! ;)) We ended our conversation by just realizing how grateful we are for the atonement....because that's whats changed us, it's what has changed me! I am not the Sister Ensign I was 10 months ago, and our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ, through the Holy Ghost, have helped make that possible! I still have a long ways to go, but I'm so grateful for them and their ability to help change me...hahah I can't wait to read you guys my journal when i get home!

My week started a bit...actually... it started GREAT...Monday night was spent on the bathroom floor all night; but how grateful I was and still am for this road bump, because it truly was huge blessing  to see the power of the priesthood work mighty miracles! Receiving a priesthood blessing and hearing what my Heavenly Father had to say to me was amazing, and so special, and the words which were spoken are unforgettable! The power of the priesthood has been restored and is perfect, it LITERALLY works miracles!!! it healed me in just 24 hours, and I'm so grateful that Heavenly Father allowed me to get up and keep working after just one day...I know that that never would have been possible without our Heavenly Father! MY testimony was also strengthened in the power of prayer and Scripture study! The sweet, and fervent prayer my companion offered as I layed on the floor, called down the powers of Heaven to bring peace and comfort when I felt REALLY... sick. She then read the scriptures with me and the exact passage we read, was sooo for me! IT was Alma 51 and  talked about the overpowering sicknesses of those who had "much fatigue which was caused by the labors and heat of the day"- my companion and I read it and just laughed:) But what a great boost that experience that brought to my testimony. especially the power and authority of the priesthood, as well as the power of prayer- in which the power of prayer can be accessed at any moment, for ANYTHING big or small. That is something I have learned on my mission, is to stop figuring things out Sister Ensign's way, and in my own head...but to inquire of the Lord always!

Friday night I had a dream about some South Africans and felt prompted to write it down...Well Saturday while driving from an appointment, my companion and I passed some people that we honked and waved to (like we do to everyone haha), and kept driving...I said to my companion, "should we turn around and go talk to them?"...we decided to keep driving, and then about 10 seconds later I said, "Lets go back!". Guess who it was...A SOUTH AFRICAN FAMILY (Beautiful mom and dad with the 2 cutest little girls ever) who is way close with some of our members (huge score!), AND they have been looking for an increased spirituality in their lives...ummm ok....miracle number 29347928734987 of our week! But it was just a cool experience for me to see that the Lord is preparing his children, and if we follow EVERY prompting, the Lord will bless us!

This week Sister Bailey and I went on a sweet road trip down to Bunbury, where we drove through the Australian dessert, as well as along the beautiful coast, to do exchanges with our Sisters down there! It was INCREDIBLE!!! On these 2 exchanges we were able to see MASSIVE miracles with finding heaps of investigators, as well as committing a lot of people to a baptismal date! The sisters in these area were kind of starting to feel a bit discouraged with the work seeming a bit slow, so we decided we would all focus on exercising Faith in Jesus Christ to see miracles!!! So that night and the next day we just went HAMMMM working so hard, and EXPECTING to see miracles- and sure enough! BOOM, they rain down! We just have to expect to see the good in life! Never doubt. And always see the good in all situations...as we do this and place of Faith in Jesus Christ, we will see MIRACLES!

Sam (our incredible investigator who I want to send pictures of, but this computer wont let me) :( Is doing incredible!!! She bore her testimony yesterday...ya know, just the usual for an investigator to do at church right?!?! haha she is beautiful! She was really sick earlier so we went over with our Relief Society president, shared a message, prayed for her to be healed and then invited her and each of us there to exercise faith in Jesus Christ...guess what! She called us the next day...she was completely better, AND on top of it...her leg (that has been ruined because of a spider bite years back...and swells EVERYDAY bringing pain), was also made whole and was perfectly fine! The power of prayer and faith in Christ, is incredible!!! It is the most beautiful thing to see those we teach, have their testimonies strengthened, and even share them with us and others around them! Sam is incredible and is getting so excited for her baptism on the 18th! Please keep her in your prayers, as this week she is doing the stop smoking program and needs a lot of help!

Last sweet experiecne i want to share, is about a lesson we had with Justin and Stacey (the parents of Kaleb and Tenesha who were just recently baptized)...We went over this week for a lesson with bishop where we finalized their marriage papers!!!! Ahhhh it was the greatest! We taught the Law of Chastity, and committed them to be married and baptized (literally 5 minutes after the wedding) on February 15th (the day after Valentines Day!!!)!!!! Ahhh it was the sweetest, and even better to just see the change in them over the past few months!!! As Stacey offered the closing prayer, and thanked Heavenly Father for helping them finalize the wedding and their baptismal date with so much happiness, Justin made an extra remark during the prayer to what she had just said (yes we are still teaching them proper respect during prayer haha), but he said so happily,
'SIGN, SEALED, DELIVERED!"
Hahahah they are so excited, and so are we! And the best part is, is the ward is putting on the whole wedding, and is going to make it sooo special (even though Justin and Stacey could be satisfied with hardly anything)! Our ward is incredible!

This week has been so good, it's week number 6 and so i pray that Sister Bailey and I stay in this area together! This morning while driving we were talking about how LITERALLY every single day we have been together, we have been brought to our knees, (as we randomly have to pull over the car, or during our bike ride/walk) and just pour out our hearts to Heavenly Father in gratitude for the miracles we are seeing! It's unreal! This has happened before on my mission with sweet miracles throughout the week, but this is now happening EVERY SINGLE DAY! It's beautiful and I'm so grateful!

I'm so grateful for you, and your support and love! I have a picture of our family at the front of my scriptures, and as i briefly pass it while using my scriptures in lessons, I am reminded of you guys...you are part of my motivation! Our family is so blessed, and I want so badly for other families to have the same blessings from the gospel that we do...so thank you for your beautiful faces, and your sweet spirits that remind me of why i want to work so hard! I love you guys!

xoxoxo love always,

faith in Christ brings miracles.............

This week has been so special!

My friend who recently returned home from his mission, invited me (and of course my companion as well) to invite everyone we talked to, to be baptized! Oh the sweet joy, and miracles it brought as we did so! As a result on Christmas day, Cecelia was put on date- and in fact, in the week that we've known her,  she has come to a baptism and to church, and already has a really good friend at church! My testimony in the invitation of baptism has grown EVEN MORE! Everyone needs, it regardless of if we've talked to them for 5 minutes or 2 weeks!

Akram was baptized this Saturday!!! Finally the day came!!!! She has been one of many questions and doubts...and finally the spirit had softened her heart enough to follow Jesus Christ. It was sooo beautiful to watch her at the beginning of a lesson have many questions and doubts, and then through the spirit and members, soften her words as she humbly testified that she knew what was taught was true! On Friday, the day before Akrams baptism, we called her and she answered the phone by yelling with so much excitement and happiness in her voice , "I'm readyyyyyyyyyy!" She was so excited for her baptism and it ended up being better than we even imagined! As Akram entered the waters on that Saturday morning, she had the most determined look on her face during the prayer, to follow Christ and do whatever it takes to return back to him. Just after she was buried in the water and came up, anew- she had the greatest glow on her face and just gave Brother Rameka (who baptized her) the biggest hug, and held on real tight! She later bore her testimony and shared that she felt "light", said  in her sweet broken English! And then yesterday after her confirmation when we asked how she felt she said, "hot" (as she held her hands over her head, and moved them toward the floor, indicating the warm spirit was sent throughout her!).  At her baptism, she not only had support from her loved ones, but from many of her ward family members, including the whole relief society presidency! They truly have become her family and she is really close with many of them (for example, we went to her house last night with the relief society president to drop something off, just to find another single woman (her fellowship) inside, hanging out and enjoying dinner with Akram and her family.) The ward loves her, and Sister Bailey and I can confidently say that if we were to leave our area, she would stay perfectly active! Not only are we so filled with the spirit to see our members get so on board with missionary work and grow to love those we teach, but also to see conversion take place within those we teach- what a beautiful thing this is!

Update on Yashar (who was baptized just a few weeks ago)- he is now living with some single men from New Zealand...and they read the Book of Mormon every night together!!!! Ahhh,  he couldn't be in a better environment!!! He glows now more than ever before, and even has black pants and a white shirt and tie to wear on Sunday, he looks like a natural! ;) His testimony is so strong, and this week he told us how after a trial he faced, he literally stayed up all night talking with our Heavenly Father and how he loves God so much! He is such a great example to me of incredible faith!
Many of the less actives we have been teaching are changing, and yesterday 6 of them came to church, and one of them was even able to bless the sacrament!!! My heart was so overcome with joy and gratitude during the sacrament and I can't help but be in complete awe with all the MIRACLES that Heavenly Father is giving to his children in Kwinana right now! I have never seen this happen before, and the greatest part is...is I don't expect it to ever change (except for keep getting better;)) But I would say that one of the most special things, is when less actives pray and explain to their Heavenly Father in their own words their own renewal commitment to follow him and be a little better- I am being taught so much by those we teach...I truly am so blessed!

One last miracle i would love to share, took place yesterday before church This incredible young couple and their brother had committed to come to church on Saturday. Seeing the young couple has a child and are still not married, the man (less active) and his non member partner [as expected] were a bit nervous...Well they sent us a text Sunday morning explaining that they were really sorry, but their baby had to go to the doctors for being sick. Sister Bailey and I were cut...BUT...we knew that things could change if we exercised enough Faith in Jesus Christ. So Sister Bailey fell to her knees in the kitchen, and pleaded with Heavenly Father to please soften their hearts...well Shakia (the woman) picked up the phone and just opened up and explained that they were just really nervous! We told them what we felt they needed to hear, and reassured them that we would be there with their friends (ride we had arranged) to pick them up at 1230 (just expecting them to come), and....THEY DID!!!!!! They loved church and said it was way better than they expected! Our incredible members arranged 2 FHE's with them this week without our help, and so they are in good hands! After church (as Sister Bailey and I often have to do) Sister Bailey and I stopped...prayed a prayer of gratitude and felt so much love from our Heavenly Father...we then went on to see MANY MIRACLES! I'm telling you...I've never seen anything like this before! I wish you could see it all, and I wish I had time to share more!

But I just testify that Faith in Jesus Christ brings miracles! The minute doubt or anything negative comes to mind...rid it.  think of the positive, and expect good things to happen. When my companion and I have done this, the Lord has blessed us incredibly!!!

Love,
Sister Diondra Ensign

p.s
Justin and Stacey committed to get married and baptized on Feb 15th!!! YEAH!!!
